Webhooks: Integrating Microsoft Azure Automation with Slack
In this video, we’ll explore the process of integrating Microsoft’s Azure Automation service with the Slack app, using custom “slash handlers.” Because Azure Automation and Slack both support Webhooks, they can communicate securely with each other, and send data back and forth. The code running inside Azure Automation is a PowerShell Runbook that’s available from the TechNet Script Center Gallery, which is integrated into the Microsoft Azure Portal. You can customize this PowerShell Runbook with your own, custom commands.
